Internet Camp is a project that we have been involved in since back in 2012. It all started with an insight that the youth of today, albeit smart and fully integrated with the Internet, are passive consumers of the Internet. Together with our partners we took it upon ourselves to create Internet Camp which is a digital camp held during one week each summer. At the camp we teach children 9-11 years old about the Internet in general and Internet Smartness in particular. Some of the things we cover is the structure of the Internet, content creation, source criticism, rights, obligations and many other things.

The goal is to give the children some understanding for all the possibilities that the Internet provides, besides playing games and passively consuming content.

This year Internet Camp is conducted during two separate occasions in Karlskrona and Växjö. The Karlskrona Edition of the camp was this past week and here are some images from the camp.
